It might sound like a simple question, but for many of us living fast-paced, emotionally and physically demanding lifestyles, it can be next to impossible to find a little internal peace.
Not only this, but evidence now suggests that the stress arising from this kind of lifestyle and disruption of sleep patterns that follows is a major contributing factor to countless health issues such as heart disease, high blood pressure, and even cancer.
One national survey of yoga practitioners in the US recently found that 55% of those who practiced yoga experienced better quality of sleep, while 85% said it helped them relieve stress.
Yoga outdoors is an amazingly soothing practice which helps us cultivate the ability to calm down the mind and release tension from the body in order to create deep states of relaxation and healing. Overall, this release encourages healing on all levels of our being and leaves us more able to partake in activities we enjoy and that can further enrich our lives.
On Tuesday, July 2nd at 8:00 am EDT I will be hosting Yoga at the Pool to help you understand more about the plentiful benefits yoga could have on your life! This will be the first class to run on Tuesday's during swim practice (so that's just 4 Tuesday's while your kids swim).
I’m motivated to help people realize the transformative power of these practices and just how perfectly they can be used to complement current more dynamic and physically demanding fitness plans.

Weekly class (weather permitting) fee is usually $15 but the price goes down if we have more people (so if we can get 10 people it'll go down to $10 and 15 people it'll be $5).
